Retraining of Racehorses sponsor the show

For our 100th show we are delighted to have two new prestigious qualifying classes in our horse section. Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) are sponsoring both the RoR Open in hand Class 39a and the RoR Amateur Ridden Class 42 with terrific prizemoney and rosettes plus the class winning handler or rider will receive an exclusive RoR jacket.

The Retraining of Racehorses, British Horseracing’s official charity for the welfare of racehorses after racing, was founded in 2000. As an organisation, they promote the adaptability of racehorses to other equestrian activities. RoR today, run over 300 classes in more than 25 RoR series of competitions in all disciplines and the Peter O’Sullevan Musical ride, hoping to feature as part of main ring entertainment at Emley Show in 2018, give demonstrations around the country to promote these wonderful horses for second careers. The RoR exhibition vehicle will be on site during the course of the show with a team on hand to answer any queries you may have or to simply find out more about the work they do.
