We aim to make the show as accessible as possible for members of the public and this year we are teaming up with Age UK Calderdale and Kirklees who are providing a number of mobility scooters free of charge for people who might find it difficult to walk the around the show ground. You do not need to be registered disabled.
Our Poultry Secretary, Marcus Walker, was frustrated last year by the ban on showing poultry, and this year hopes to produce an even better display of birds and eggs to compensate. Visit his section in the Livestock field.
For our 100th show we are delighted to have two new prestigious qualifying classes in our horse section. Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) are sponsoring both the RoR Open in hand Class 39a and the RoR Amateur Ridden Class 42 with terrific prizemoney and rosettes plus the class winning handler or rider will receive an exclusive RoR jacket.
